About SuziI am a practising Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and a registered member of the CSTA (Craniosacral Therapy Association). My childhood in Kenya provided me with an acute awareness and respect for the fragility, the beauty and the balance of our natural world. This unique experience influenced my decision to complete a BSc (Hons.) in Crop Technology which I then put into practice on my return to Africa as a volunteer on a grass roots development project in rural Tanzania focussed on the empowerment of women within their communities. On my return to England and on reflection of my grass root level experience I chose to explore how I could make a difference from a different angle and context; supplying imported vegetables to the UK supermarkets. This thrilling and fast-paced, competitive and commercial environment further developed my awareness of the global forces which affect our lives, whether they be environmental, economic or political. As a mother to three boys where my caring and compassionate nature really came to the fore and through yoga I gained a deep awe(fascination/ respect/ resonance?) for the therapeutic potential and power of touch. I feel privilidged to have trained in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in London. The practitoner training has deepened my appreciation and connection to our natural world and the universal forces that organise it and us.I enjoy spending time with my family, walking in nature, swimming, yoga, gardening and crocheting.I currently run my practice from 'The Forge' which offers a tranquil and neutral space in which to treat. The Forge is located in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at Sole Street, Crundale. Tip: Add your own image by clicking on the gallery and then clicking Organize Images.
